Hire Agreement Terms and Conditions
If you have Pre-Booked on line:
Please print off your booking confirmation OR bring the proof of booking ID number to the hire office.
On the Day: Call in and see us – if any trolleys are available for night hire please bring the pre-payment in cash (see Chariots for Children rates) and the cash deposit (see below).
For Pre-payment OR on the day please remember to bring the deposit (CASH ONLY) of £50.00 (trolley) £100.00 (Chariot) – This deposit covers loss or damage to either the trolley or trolley/chariot parts. If you pre order a chariot / standard trolley and do not arrive to collect it, you must let us know 24 hours before the agreed collection time. If we are not notified, you will still be charged if you do not arrive to collect.
The trolley/chariot must be returned to us in the condition it was hired from and back to the hire office it was hired from by the time stipulated on the hire agreement to get your deposit refunded.
If the trolley/chariot is not returned at the stated time on the hire agreement then our normal standard hire rate will commence. (£10.00 per 1hour 30 minutes – then £5.00 per 30 minutes thereafter) and will be deducted from the deposit held UNTIL THE TROLLEY/CHARIOT IS RETURNED TO US.
Any Risk arising whilst use or in the trolley/chariot will pass to you immediately when the trolley/chariot leaves our possession and will not pass back to us until the trolley/chariot is returned to our possession.
You are responsible for the trolley/chariot until it is returned to us – if the trolley/chariot is stolen from you please report it to the hire office you hired from asap. If the trolley/chariot is not handed in or found at the end of the event your deposit will be forfeited. If the trolley/chariot has not been reported stolen by the hirer and is not returned by the end of trading on the Monday after each festival, it will be reported as stolen and the hirers details will be given to the police.
Please see our FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS on the reverse of the hire agreement and that you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement and understand it, and agree to be bound by all its terms and conditions.
